Madam,

With referende to the question which you

asked . Thomas in the House of Commons on the15th

of July, I am desired by Mr. Amery to inform you that

the Governor of Hong Kong has now reported that, as

far as can be ascertained, no complaints were received

from householders during the period 1914-1924.
